Nallur Kandaswamy mit seinem gold-roten Gopuram im Zentrum von Jaffna. Im August füllt das Fest fünfundzwanzig Tage lang die Straßen. Dämme führen nach Westen über flaches Wasser nach Kayts und Karainagar; Fähren fahren weiter nach Nagadeepa und Delft, wo noch wilde Ponys leben.
